The Tribes We Lead: Seth Godin Speaks

Image of Seth Godin's "Tribes" book coverOne of Brett Coryell’s (UTS) favorite books is Tribes, by Seth Godin. Recently, TEDEducation published a video of an inspired speech regarding the themes from the book that Godin made at a TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Conference in 2009.

Although over four years old, the speech is as relevant in today’s job climate as ever. According to TEDEd, “Godin argues the Internet has ended mass marketing and revived a human social unit from the distant past: tribes. Founded on shared ideas and values, tribes give ordinary people the power to lead and make big changes. He urges us to do so.”

I encourage you to watch this video as Godin is a marvelous presenter and his message resonates throughout our enterprise and speaks to us as individual employees.
