Specializing in both Desktop support and Fire support!

Kuwuan (pronounced ku-WAN) arrives at Emory from the DeKalb County Police Department, where he spent six years doing desktop support. Before that he did desktop support at UPS in their Glenlake facility for five years.

A Computer Information Systems graduate of Georgia Southern, Kuwuan is originally from Sommerset, NJ, but a stint in the Army brought him to the Peach State 17 years ago. He was stationed at Fort Stewart, GA was a Fire Support Specialist and also did communications.

Kuwuan and his wife Vontressia, who is a microbiologist, have a 19-month-old duaghter named Kennadee. Kuwuan’s little girl keeps him busy but he also still finds time to enjoy action movies and is a comic book aficionado.

As for working at Emory, Kuwuan is dedicated to hard work. “I’m just an average person who gets the job done,” he says.
