Derrick brings a roundhouse kick to Field Services.

Derrick joins the field services team to work on the VoIP Avaya phones and has already been busy at the Midtown location. He has been at Emory for over ten years, working as a maintenance mechanic and staging technician. He also worked for Allstate, where he had his P&C license, which he keeps current.

A native of Atlanta, Derrick is a proud graduate of Redan High School in Stone Mountain. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Network and Communications Management from DeVry University.

Derrick is into physical fitness, and his preferred activity is MMA kickboxing. He has been a member of Team Octopus and currently trains on his own. He is also a basketball player and lifelong Lakers fan. Derrick enjoys movies and travel, with Niagara Falls in December being a favorite location he has visited.
