Rob loves music and sports.

Rob has spent 21 years in Human Resources management and comes to Emory from AXIS Capital, where he served as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, with primary responsibility for global compensation. Prior to that he worked for 11 years at Cisco Systems where he was the Director of HR for Cisco’s services division, working with employees who performed equipment installation, software integration, 24×7 technical call center support, consulting services, and technical training.

In addition, Rob managed the integration of Cisco’s acquisition of Scientific Atlanta, in which he performed job mapping, compensation and benefits integration, as well as change management and communication. He also supported Cisco’s Business Services and Operations Divisions including IT, supply chain management, finance, legal, and HR.  Rob has also worked in HR management roles with Aramark Campus Services and Frito-Lay.

A proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Rob received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and HR, respectively. He was born in Wilmington, DE and grew up in the tiny farming town of Landenberg, PA.

Rob loves music. He sings and plays guitar in a rock cover band that performs on weekends in Gwinnett. He’s also a performer in the Praise Team band of Hamilton Mill United Methodist. Rob’s also a big college football fan, regularly attending South Carolina and University of Georgia games.

“I have wanted to move into higher education for a while now,” says Rob, “and finally had the right opportunity.”
