Michael Buchmann, STS Coordinator, Academic Technology Services

Michael spent four years as an Apple Genius.

Michael will be coordinating Student Technology Services (STS) in the Cox Hall Computing Center. He worked at Apple as a Genius (Apple’s name for a computer hardware and software technician) and technician on Apple devices. Before that he was the customer support manager at a camera repair shop, Camera Repair Japan, in Duluth for four years.

Originally from Cleveland, Michael grew up in Ohio. He came to Atlanta 11 years ago to go to college at Georgia State University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.

Michael loves computers, especially the Apple brand. He enjoys rock climbing at Summit (off of I-85), hiking and biking.
