Jessie loves 70’s detective TV shows!

Jessie will be area leader of the Electronic and Continuing Resources (ECR) Team, including print serials and government documents. Before coming to Emory, Jessie spent seven years at Georgia Gwinnett College as a resource management librarian, in charge of cataloging, serials, and electronic resources. Prior to that she was GGC’s Outreach and Assessment Librarian, where she coordinated the assessment for the library. Jessie also performed outreach to faculty and other schools and did a lot of reference work and instruction. She also spent two years with Gwinnett County Public Library system.

Born and raised in Atlanta (she attended Collins Hill HS in Gwinnett), Jessie received her Bachelor’s degree in History at Oglethorpe University and a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from FSU.

For fun, Jessie reads a lot (“I am a librarian, you know”) and loves 70’s detective TV shows like the Rockford Files, Magnum PI, and Mannix.

“I am excited about the new opportunities,” said Jessie.
