Tom Vincent, new Compass Technology Manager.

I am excited to announce that I am promoting Tom Vincent into the role of Compass Technology Team Manager. Tom has covered this role on an interim basis for the past three months while also serving as technical lead on the Tools upgrade project. Feedback on his role during this time has been extremely supportive of Tom’s promotion. His background in PeopleSoft and experience on the Compass tech team combined with his career goal for management make him an easy choice.

While many of you have worked with Tom over the years, you may not know his background. He was born in Hawaii and grew up in Indianapolis where he started his career as a consultant. After 12 years of consulting, he moved his family to Atlanta in 1998 to join the OPUS implementation team at Emory. Starting with version 7.5, he has over 15 years of technical experience supporting PeopleSoft applications. Tom and his wife, Kim, have three kids (Jordan – 17, Josh – 15, and Jenna – 13), two cats and a puppy, but he still finds time to coach his sons’ basketball and flag football teams. So, we are just adding one more team for him to manage! I am excited about this opportunity for Tom–and the team.
