Dan knows how to rock.

Dan Ra comes to Patti Pate‘s team as a technical product manager assisting with high performance computing (HPC), Emory First, and REDCap.

He spent the past six years at Emory, working as a senior desktop consultant for the Department of Chemistry for one year and as a desktop consultant for the Law School for five years.

A native of Langhorne, PA (which is outside of Philadelphia), Dan attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his bachelor of science in psychology.

Dan also carries several certifications, including A+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), and is on track for ITIL Expert certification.

In his free time, when he’s not spending time with his wife Amy and their dog Louie, he likes making music. He just left a band and is hoping to play around Atlanta’s music venues again soon. Lastly, everyone often mistakes him for a freshman here at Emory.
