Caleb enjoys martial arts and has earned a brown belt in Cuong Nhu.

Caleb Boyd has joined the Middleware Team to do web hosting and Cascade development. Before coming to Emory, Caleb was a systems administrator for the US branch of a German software firm called BrandMaker. He also taught theatre history and playwriting for ten years at the University of West Georgia and  worked for several years as the literary manager and dramaturg at the Horizon Theatre Company here in Atlanta.

Caleb earned a bachelor’s degree in theater and English and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of West Georgia, as well as a doctorate degree in theatre history and criticism from Florida State University.

Born in Shoreham, Vermont but raised in Carrolton, GA, Caleb enjoys martial arts and has earned a brown belt in  Cuong Nhu, a Vietnamese blended martial arts style. He is also a kayaker and loves to travel.
