Xiaoqian enjoys working in academic setting.

Xiaoqian Li (pronounced shee-YOW-chee-in LEE) joins Infrastructure as a Network Engineer and will be working with the Data Engineering team. Prior to joining Emory, she worked in the Information Technology Services department of Texas Woman’s University for 14 years, serving in the roles of web team programmer, technical support staff for Oracle HRMS and OAB modules, domain administrator and Exchange administrator.

She is also a Microsoft certified systems engineer and Security+ certified professional. She enjoys working in an academic setting.

Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Xiaoqian was a certified public accountant before moving to the United States. She later earned an associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Madison Area Technical College and studied finance at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Xiaoqian loves quality time with her husband and two sons. She likes travel, cooking, exercises, movies and music in her spare time.
