Council members are responsible for distributing information regarding the Council to their constituents and bringing issues of concern from their constituents to the Council.
The Library and Information Technology Division recently solicited volunteers and nominations of staff interested in serving on the University’s Employee Council. Members serve two-year terms and in addition may serve on University Senate Committees. This is an exciting opportunity to meet staff from across campus, visit buildings and areas of campus not normally visited and to promote community and activities at Emory.
Congratulations to our two selected Employee Council Representatives Nydia Charles-Huggins and Kevin Bradford. Linda Mayes will act as an alternate and move into the representative spot next year when Shea Jarman’s term is vacated.
