Saturday, September 27 started out misty and cool, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the LITS employees, retirees, ex-employees, spouses, kids and friends who turned out for the Winship Win the Fight 5K. It was a record-setting crowd with over 3,000 participants; the event has raised over $595,000 to date.

Over 30 LITS staff, family and friends sported the bright gold LITS Warrior t-shirts designed by Norman Hulme. Though not a winner in the t-shirt contest they were easily picked out in the crowd and a hit with kids who were into the knight motif.

The LITS group raised over $2,150 for cancer research.

Many thanks to those who turned out and supported this great effort.
