Ashley Spink is a Certified Ethical Hacker.

Ashley Spink comes to the Security Team to focus on the identification and elimination of threats to the network. He previously worked at the University of Georgia where he focused on security for 12 years, but was a system admin at the departmental level prior to being an IT analyst at the enterprise level.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Covington, GA, Ashley received a bachelor’s degree in business management at Georgia College and a master’s in religion at UGA. He holds GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) and A+ certifications, is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and attended SAN’s Advanced Network Forensics Training.

Ashley and his wife have been married for eight years and met in religion classes at UGA. For fun, “we study religion and play PS4,” said Ashley. The Spinks have a daughter, Sophia, who is almost three.
