This is Mike’s second stint at Emory as a Java developer.

Mike Panetta is the newest Java Developer IV in University IT Services and Research Solutions. Before joining LITS, Mike worked at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) on a classified project and at Silverpop as a Java developer. Mike also spent four years at Emory, three as a Java Developer III and one as a Java IV.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mike earned his bachelor of science degree in computer science from Georgia Tech. A former guitarist and drummer, Mike enjoys gaming on his X-Box 360 and his Mac. He also owns a catahoula mix named Molly.

“I am glad to be back at Emory,” said Mike. “After a few growing pains from when I was first here, it looks like the team has a good clear direction today.”
