Thomas is a ham radio operator and dabbles in electronics.

In his new role, Thomas Armour will be working with various groups to identify and resolve issues with MacAfee Antivirus, MySoft, Verint and Software Express on a more enterprise-wide basis. A seven-year Emory veteran, Tom was hired originally in 2007 to work on the enterprise-wide desktop management solution (LANDesk).

Before coming to Emory, Thomas did LANDesk consulting for four years and worked for CocaCola Enterprises for seven years as a LANDesk manager.

Thomas grew up in Grove City, PA, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University, in Marietta, GA.

For fun, Thomas is a ham radio operator and dabbles in electronics. He recently completed a “Worked All States” radio certification, which is an award for contacting individual amateur radio stations in each US state.

You can reach Thomas at tarmour [at] emory [dot] edu.
