Each year, the Emory HR department celebrates Staff Fest on the first Friday after commencement to show appreciation to Emory University staff members for the hard work and support they provide to the university year-round.

This year’s theme is Embracing the Past…Creating the Future.

The main event will take place from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm on the Quad, with games, music, dancing, and refreshments. Volleyball and the Fun Run/Walk begin at 11:00.

A pair of LITs-laden teams will be line dancing on the Quad at 12:30 (Woodruff Library team) and 1:30 (1599 team), so be sure to check out their talents.

FOOD: Staff Fest does not provide a full lunch for employees. We have been very grateful to America To Go (ATG) for sharing their food vendors with us for the past two years. This year, ATG will have a table set up in Emory Information Central, but food vendors will not provide tastings this year. Staff Fest will provide some light refreshments including: hot dogs (beef and vegan), chips, ice cream, popcorn and coke products.

RAIN LOCATION: If rain, the celebration will move to the DUC, Lower Level Terrace (refreshments only).

REMINDER: Staff Fest is for current staff and retirees only. Family members will not be admitted.
