Kevin Miller enjoys physical fitness.

Kevin Miller has promoted to the music and media library after spending the past 15 years in the storage library as a senior library assistant. Before his work at Emory, Kevin worked for an Emory affiliate called Scholars Press, where he did data entry and mail for four years.

A native of Monticello in upstate New York, Kevin got his associate’s degree in business administration from Georgia Perimeter College. He came to Georgia during the 1996 Olympics because of family and the growing Atlanta job market.

When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys physical fitness. He likes to hike, lift weights and play basketball. He and his wife Sarah often climb Stone Mountain together. Kevin enjoys fiction, with Stephen King and Richard Bach being his two favorite authors.

“I will be learning how to do some repairs and new equipment technology,” said Kevin. “I am looking forward the variety of this position. Working with faculty members sounds exciting.”
