According to Anwar Reddick, “There is a lot of opportunity here and I am working with really smart people. They’ve welcomed me in enthusiastically.”

Anwar Reddick joins the Enterprise IT Security team with a specialty in web application security. Prior to landing at Emory, Anwar spent ten years at Georgia Tech, where he was an information security research scientist. He also spent time doing software engineering and database design.

Born in Queens, NY, Anwar received a bachelor of science in computer science and a master’s degree in information security from Georgia Tech.

To relax, Anwar plays basketball, loves to exercise and plays board games. His favorites are Power Grid, Eclipse, Letters from Whitechapel and Star Wars the card game.

“Working on this team is very exciting,” said Anwar. “There is a lot of opportunity here and I am working with really smart people. They’ve welcomed me in enthusiastically, so it’s been great.”
