Said Cheryl Edwards, “I truly enjoy my work and I am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given at Emory.”

Cheryl Edwards has been promoted to business analyst II in Enterprise Applications. She has been an application administrator of Verint in LITS for the past year. Before coming to LITS, Cheryl spent four years in Emory Healthcare as a call center agent and then as an information analyst.

Prior to her Emory career, she worked as an IT supervisor at Edson Homes.

Born in Jacksonville, FL, Cheryl lived in New York until the desire to experience a better quality of life brought her to Georgia. Cheryl earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Clayton State.

To relax, Cheryl loves going to the gym and grilling. “The key to a good steak is a charcoal grill with a high flame,” said Cheryl.

Cheryl has three daughters, two of which are twins. Her oldest, Ashley, is in the Navy as one of the first in a group of 38 women ever selected to work on submarines. The twins, Danielle and Dominique have similar professions: one is a graphic design artist and the other is a technical illustrator.
