Carla Ashe is the newest human resources specialist in HR and has been in this position since April of 2016. Before coming to Emory, Carla spent five years at Public Broadcasting Atlanta as an HR generalist. Prior to that, Carla managed two Rosetta Stone locations in the Atlanta airport for two years.

Originally from the small town of Littleton, NC, Carla has lived in Georgia since the age of five. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Georgia State University. Carla also received a master’s degree in human resource management at Capella University.

Carla recently retired from dancing professionally after spending years behind many unsigned artists. She quit dancing to buckle down on life and pursue her career at Rosetta Stone.

Carla loves to shop and is a first time mom to a baby girl named Jordan who gets all of her attention.
