Michelle Wilson joined LITS as an accountant in the last half of 2016. Before coming to Emory, she worked at Working Buildings, the company that is currently commissioning the hospital expansion at Emory. Michelle spent four years there, primarily as lead/senior accountant (project set-up, billing, accounts payable and receivable and payroll).

Michelle was also an auditor at The Weather Channel and an assistant manager for the Department of Commerce (Census Bureau), both of which use Oracle/Peoplesoft, so she was able to parlay those experiences into the position here.

A native of Queens in New York City, Michelle moved to Atlanta in 2006. After years of raising kids and working as an accountant, Michelle is completing her accounting degree at Atlanta Technical College.

In her free time, Michelle likes to “dance, eat, read, eat, watch sports and eat.” She is also a certified double dutch trainer. Her favorite sports teams are the New England Patriots (really, Michelle?) and the New York Knicks.
