Heidi Knowles joins Emory as a lead applications developer/analyst after spending the past 13 years as an IT developer at the Home Depot.

Born in a rural area between Ridge Manor and Webster, FL, Heidi moved to Georgia nearly 10 years ago to work at Home Depot’s corporate office. She has an associates degree in applied sciences information technology, with a focus on application development, from Kaplan University.

When Heidi isn’t working, she likes to read, paint, game, and hang out with family (her son and fiancé).

Working for Emory has been “very different (in a good way) than what I’m used to from a corporate standpoint,” said Heidi, “It has been a big change for me, but I’ve enjoyed it very much.”
