Tyler Moses, Visiting Librarian, Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library

“I’m really learning a lot from my colleagues about being an Informationist.” – Tyler Moses

Tyler Moses recently joined the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library team as a Visiting Librarian. This placement is part of her optional second year of the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) Associate Fellowship Program. Sandra Franklin is her preceptor and Amy Allison coordinates her learning plan.

Prior to her first year as an Associate Fellow at NLM, Tyler worked as an integrated reading and writing tutor at Palo Alto Community College and completed her spring practicum at the Dolph Briscoe Jr. Library at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio. She holds a Master’s in library science and MS in health studies from Texas Woman’s University. Though born in Buffalo, NY, she was raised in both Arizona and Texas.

When not working, Tyler attends anime and comic conventions. She enjoys going to the theatre and rock concerts.

“I’m really learning a lot from my colleagues about being an Informationist,” says Tyler. “I enjoy working with them and look forward to interacting with the staff, faculty, and students at Emory.”
