The Annual LITS Chili Cook-off and Dessert Bake-off will be held next week on Wednesday, October 31 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Held in the parking lot of the 1762 Building, this event is one of the more popular LITS events of the year.

Anyone interested in entering the contest must email Kim Comstock at kcomsto [at] emory [dot] edu by Friday, October 26 (TODAY). In order to make this a success they need between 20-25 chili and dessert submissions. Chili batches should be large enough to serve 10-13 people (usually one crock pot full).

If you are interested in submitting your chili recipe, LITS Business & Administration will purchase the meat for your chili ($30 max per entry – remember to send Kim your receipt).  B&A will also supply soft drinks, chili toppers, chips, eating utensils, and eco-friendly paper products.

There will be prizes awarded to the winning chili and dessert participants. There is also a Halloween costumes contest, so wear your spooky outfit!
