“I cannot wait to see all of the digital library products in action.” – Kathryn Michaelis

Kathryn Michaelis has joined LITS as the digital preservation program manager for Emory Libraries. She most recently served for six years as the digital projects coordinator at the Georgia State University Library. Prior to Georgia State, Kathryn was the special collections digital initiatives librarian for the J.D. Williams Library at the University of Mississippi.

Raised in Greenwood, SC, Kathryn earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of South Carolina and her master’s degree in library science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
