Tyler Moses, Assessment and Life Sciences Informationist, Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library

“I look forward to interacting more with the staff, faculty, and students at Emory.” – Tyler Moses

Tyler Moses has been promoted to assessment and life sciences informationist. In her new role, she will be continuing her assessment work looking into instructional and spaces-related projects. She will also be working with the Life Sciences department, collaborating with faculty and undergraduate students from biology, neuroscience and behavioral biology, and the Center for the Study of Human Health.

Previously, Tyler served Emory as a visiting librarian through the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) Associate Fellowship Program. Prior to coming to Emory, Tyler worked as an integrated reading and writing tutor at Palo Alto Community College and completed her spring practicum at the Dolph Briscoe Jr. Library at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio.

Tyler holds a master’s degree in library science and a master of science degree in health studies from Texas Woman’s University. Though born in Buffalo, NY, she was raised in both Arizona and Texas.

When not working, Tyler attends anime and comic conventions. She enjoys going to the theatre and rock concerts.

“I’m really learning a lot from my colleagues about being an Informationist,” says Tyler. “I enjoy working with them and look forward to interacting more with the staff, faculty, and students at Emory.”
