LEAF Elections are open until April 2 and more news

The Library Employee Advocacy Forum (LEAF) is facilitating a monthly online news feature to keep library staff informed about advocacy-related information at Emory.

LEAF Elections are open

The elections for the Library Employee Advocacy Forum (LEAF) are now open. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and represent the needs of your fellow library employees. The LEAF by-laws provide the flexibility for departments/divisions when conducting elections. Please check with your current LEAF representative or ayana [dot] bohannon [at] emory [dot] edu for more information. All elections should be completed by the end of March with the recorded results forwarded to Ayana Bohannon no later than April 2. The new members will begin their terms in May 2020, at which point the LEAF representatives will select new officers.

March coffee celebrating Irish culture

The upcoming LEAF Coffee is scheduled for March 17 at 2:00 pm in the Rose Library. The Rose Library staff will have materials on display to celebrate the Irish culture in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. If possible, please bring your own coffee cup/mug to help with sustainability efforts.

Congratulations to Dhy Edwardsberry, from the Goizueta Business Library, who won the Get Active Bingo contest during the February Coffee with LEAF and Wellness. Dhy won a free month’s membership at the Blomeyer Fitness Center.
