“I am excited to be here and to start my next big adventure as a business librarian.” – Dhy Edwardsberry

Dhy Edwardsberry (pronounced like DYE) is the new business librarian in the GBL. Before coming to Emory, Dhy spent three years as an access services coordinator at the Harvard Business School Library. While at Harvard, she also taught advanced music production at the Institute of Contemporary Art.

After growing up in Cincinnati, OH, Dhy spent 15 years in Boston. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music business management from the Berklee College of Music and her master of library and information science degree from Simmons University. She won a collegiality award at Berklee for helping to bridge the gap between students and staff. She was also recognized for her work on the HathiTrust Digital Objects Quality Correction working group while working in the Harvard Library.

Dhy has her own band called NEON BLK (formerly called Radclyffe Hall). One of her Radclyffe Hall songs, “Omg,” was featured on the TV series Good Trouble. Dhy plays bass and does a lot of sound design. She also hangs out with her two cats, Overton Wakefield Jones Edwardsberry and Astrid Ann Edwardsberry. If you visit her office, she will play you a song on her cat keyboard, which meows with each key stroke.

“I am excited to be here and to start my next big adventure as a business librarian,” says Dhy. “Emory is so cool. I feel like I can be myself here. I appreciate Emory for giving me this opportunity and I feel appreciated by this staff.”
