Will Wright<\/strong> comes to Emory as a\u00a0Software Engineer II, App Development & Informatics (LITS). He previously spent two years as a software engineer in the global services division of\u00a0Atmospheric & Environmental Research, Inc. (AER) in Lexington, MA.<\/p>\n

Will is\u00a0from Georgetown, SC, which he described as “a small \u2018low-country\u2019 town, home of a paper mill, steel mill, and great people.” Will\u00a0earned bachelor’s degrees\u00a0in physics and computer science from Francis Marion University, a master’s in computer science and a Ph.D. in energy and environmental systems from North Carolina A&T State University. Will also\u00a0recently received a Data Science certification from Coursera.<\/p>\n

For fun, Will enjoys spending time with “my wonderful wife and hilarious daughter.” He\u00a0also likes\u00a0exploring Atlanta and improving his programming skills with side projects and meetups.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m definitely enjoying myself at Emory,” said Will. “Everyone has been extremely nice and has made it so easy to adjust.”<\/p>\n
