Lots of thinking going on here!\u201d &#8211; Susan Detrie<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Susan Detrie<\/strong> joins Emory as an Educational Analyst II after spending time as an instructional technologist at\u00a0the University of Colorado-Denver. She\u00a0worked with education faculty at the University of Colorado-Denver, the University of Colorado-Boulder, the University of Denver and the University of Wyoming to build\u00a0online courses for K-12 teachers of bilingual students.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to having experience with Canvas and technology project management, Susan originally came from a media\/film\/television background where she designed graphics for videos, animation, print materials and websites for over 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>A native of\u00a0Wisconsin, Susan\u00a0has lived\u00a0all over the country, from Los Angeles to Chicago to Austin. She holds a bachelor&#8217;s degree in philosophy from\u00a0the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a master&#8217;s degree in instructional technology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an education specialist degree in education technology from the\u00a0University of Missouri-Columbia.<\/p>\n<p>Susan loves art classes, cooking and museums. \u00a0She also likes volunteering for children&#8217;s causes.\u00a0When asked what she thinks of her\u00a0Emory experience thus far, Susan said, &#8220;I like it.
