Jay says "Go Braves!"<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jay’s official title is the Digital Scholarship Solutions Analyst and he’s been at the Library for a year. Prior to that he was at an SaaS startup called Predictix, where he was a member of their global operations team. He worked on retail forecasting applications for two years.<\/p>\n

He also worked on computer systems and IT for the Capital Defense division of the Georgia Public Defender System. Originally, Jay started out as an investigator and became known as “the young guy who knew computers” so he switched into IT and never looked back.<\/p>\n

Born and raised in Dalton GA, Jay went to Georgia State where he got a degree in Political Science. He did web development for multiple GSU departments while in college.<\/p>\n

Jay is a huge Braves fan, loves home improvement work, and does not own a car so he rides his bike everywhere. Jay also loves taking care of his three dogs.<\/p>\n

In regards to the reorg, “I am interested in seeing how this all shakes out,” says Jay.<\/p>\n
