Prior to that he was at an SaaS startup called Predictix, where he was a member of their global operations team. He worked on retail forecasting applications for two years.<\/p>\n<p>He also worked on computer systems and IT for the Capital Defense division of the Georgia Public Defender System. Originally, Jay started out as an investigator and became known as &#8220;the young guy who knew computers&#8221; so he switched into IT and never looked back.<\/p>\n<p>Born and raised in Dalton GA, Jay went to Georgia State where he got a degree in Political Science. He did web development for multiple GSU departments while in college.<\/p>\n<p>Jay is a huge Braves fan, loves home improvement work, and does not own a car so he rides his bike everywhere.
