He brings to Emory a wealth of fund raising experience \u2013 most recently as the development and special events director of the Santa Fe Community Foundation in New Mexico and also as the manager of marketing and development for Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers in Atlanta, the state&#8217;s oldest and largest not-for-profit early childcare center, dedicated \u00a0to high quality childcare for low income families.<\/p>\n<p>A native of Hawkinsville, GA, Jason received his bachelor degree in English from Georgia State University and also studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Go Jackets\u2026State Champs!). He is active in the Atlanta community with St. Mark\u2019s United Methodist Church and the Human Rights Campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Jason loves to read, travel and is a sports nut, following all Georgia Tech sports, the Falcons, the Braves, and the Hawks.
