Ed Morris is an accomplished musician and opera singer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ed Morris<\/strong> joins the Middleware and Web team to help administer web servers. Before coming to Emory, Ed spent three years as a senior consultant providing Mac support for Onyx Consulting. He also worked for five years as a consultant for MacMD in Chicago and two years as a support specialist for a subscription-based support company. He is a certified Mac and Microsoft technician.<\/p>\n

As a child, Ed traveled the world. Born in Canton, OH, Ed’s family moved to Seoul, Korea, when he was a boy, then spent time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, before moving to Georgia, where he finished at Fulton County’s North Springs High School.<\/p>\n

A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Ed has a bachelor’s degree in music performance. At GSU, he sang opera as a baritone.<\/p>\n

In his free time, Ed helps his wife Brooke raise their two kids, Edith and Clara, tinkers with computers, and makes music. “I am like a one-man band,” said\u00a0Ed. You can find his music at\u00a0http:\/\/music.ishcabittle.com<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

On working at Emory, Ed noted, “I am especially excited to have a desk. As a consultant for so many years, I always worked on location and never had a place to hang pictures.” He added, “This team is an excellent place for me to become a specialist.”<\/p>\n
