In 2002, Emily returned to Emory\u2019s Goizueta Business Library as their electronic projects librarian, where she\u00a0did web development and launched a GBS\u00a0faculty working papers repository system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">After a freelance stint in Santa Cruz, California, Emily\u00a0came back to Atlanta and to Emory in 2008 as one of the first 8 employees of what was then called the Research &amp; Health Sciences IT group, where her projects included the\u00a0Electronic Conflict of Interest system and the Emory News Center. In 2013, Emily\u00a0rejoined the Library as a metadata analyst, and also participated in Emory\u2019s first class of Business Practice Improvement Scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">A native of Cincinnati, OH, Emily received a bachelor\u2019s degree in Latin from Georgia State University. She originally came to the area when her dad worked as a professor at Furman University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">When she\u2019s not working, Emily loves travel, with Savannah and Tybee Island being favorite getaways.
