Nutrition

Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle.  In order for our bodies to function properly and stay healthy, it is important to consume healthy foods.  On this page, you will find resources, programs, and strategies intended to help staff and faculty of Emory choose healthier eating options while at work and at home.

Healthy Eating at Work

Healthy snacking is very important to maintain a healthy diet. Did you know that Emory has several healthy vending machines across campus?  The next time you crave for a snack, consider healthier snack options and grab a snack from the healthy vending machine.  Not sure where the vending machines are located, click here to view the list.

Since we spend so much time at work, and there are so many different places to eat near campus, it can be tempting to consume “less than healthy” foods.  Want to dine on campus and still eat healthy?  Have you ever had to make a tough decision in deciding which food choice is more healthier?  To help you identify healthy foods when dining on campus, look for the Better Choice label.   At campus dining locations, this label will appear on select food items, making it easier for you to achieve your health goals.  To learn more, click here.

Identify healthy food at Emory Dining locations with the Well-Being Indicator. The Well-Being Indicator represents more than just numbers, making wellness actionable by putting it in an overall context of health. Read more about it here.
