2022 Research Fellowships

The Rose Library offers a variety of fellowships and awards to support travel for researchers to come to Emory to conduct research in our holdings. Here are links to both our Short-Term Fellowships and Subject Specific Fellowships:

Subject Specific Fellowships:

We did not offer any fellowships in 2021 because of challenges associated with the pandemic, and the fellowships are back this year with some modifications.  In 2022 the Rose Library will make only one award for each fellowship.  As a result we have increased the award amount to $1000.00 with two exceptions. The exceptions are the Marcus Garvey Foundation Fellowships, which are set at $500.00, and the Leonard and Louise Riggio Fellowship, which is set at $2000.00 this year. Two Garvey Foundation Fellowship will be awarded during this cycle.

The applications are open and  will close on May 25, 2022. Award notifications will go out June 15.
