Zach Jones is a Chaplain Resident at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA where he works in women’s services and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Zach is a recent graduate of the Candler School of Theology at Emory University where he completed his M. Div. with a certificate in Episcopal Studies. Zach’s primary interests are spiritual formation, pastoral care, homiletics, and the Church’s public witness in the 21st century. Zach is a trained Be the Bridge to Racial Unity facilitator, has taught classes on approaches to refugee care and immigration advocacy, and published sermons through the Episcopal Preaching Foundation. Zach’s interest in moral injury and moral healing stem from his grandfather’s experience in Vietnam and the experiences of several friends who served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Zach is wholeheartedly committed to the world envisioned by the prophet Isaiah where weapons of war and violence are transformed into tools of peace and communal flourishing.
