Lauren Calvin Cooke is a Ph.D. candidate in Religious Education at Emory University. Her research focuses on Youth Ministry and Hebrew Bible, and her dissertation explores ways of engaging biblical wisdom literature with youth that are informed by biblical studies, critical pedagogy, and wisdom scholarship. Her goal in her work is for youth ministers to approach biblical education in a way that values and cultivates the theological imagination of young people.
