Kevin Lazarus is a doctoral student in the Ethics and Society course of study at Emory University’s Graduate Division of Religion. His work focuses on the intersections of theology, disability studies and bioethics to explore the role of religion in shaping conceptions of normativity and disability, particularly in medical contexts. Prior to doctoral studies at Emory, he worked as a hospital chaplain through a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education.
