On March 16, 2:30 – 4 p.m., in Emmerson Hall at the Schwartz Performing Arts Center, famed tenor Lawrence Brownlee worked with Emory student Evelyn Sload, among others. This opportunity was made possible in part by the Schwartz Artist-in-Residence program.
I am so grateful to have been a part of the master class with Lawrence Brownlee. His comments about interpretation and language helped me not only with the song I was working on, but with all of my repertoire for my senior recital.
