Samantha Frischling is a soprano currently based in Atlanta. Praised for her “scene stealing performances” and voice of “terrific force” (South Florida Classical Review), her past roles include Micaëla in Carmen, both Blanche and Madame Lidoine in Dialogues des Carmélites, and Almera in Nico Muhly’s Dark Sisters. She has been a young artist with festivals around the country and abroad, most recently returning to Spoleto Festival USA for her second year as a Vocal Fellow and as a member of the professional Spoleto Festival USA Chorus. Equally passionate about concert repertoire, she was recently a soloist in Bach’s St. John Passion and Corigliano’s Fern Hill, and was thrilled to return to Emory as one of the soloists for Mozart’s Requiem in 2022.
