This summer, The Merian Ensemble was announced as a recipient of New Music USA’s Organization Fund Awards. The quintet, 4 of which are Emory affiliate faculty, are thrilled to present the result of that funding – their new website:

Emphasis has been placed on their “Listen: Works by Women” initiatives, which promote the standard of an inclusive repertoire. You can check out the Our Repertoire section, featuring a record of historic and contemporary works by women on their concerts, 2019 to present, and the Our Composers section, featuring the Merian Ensemble commissions and world premieres. Their site will see a slight change when they update some of the photos in the fall and a recording of their commissions is on the horizon.
