We are searching for a scholar who has a critical, interdisciplinary orientation to the study of sovereignty, nation, race, gender and\/or sexuality. The position is at the tenured Associate or Full Professor rank. Candidates will be at the forefront of current scholarship that is redefining Indigenous literary and cultural studies, and rewriting academic, legal, and\/or popular narratives of Indigenous peoples. The successful candidate will be an active scholar with a national and\/or international reputation who is grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems, and is committed to working with Indigenous students and communities.\u00a0Teaching will be at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. All applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse student body.
