Biography:

I am a PhD student in the Emory Neuroscience Graduate Program. I joined the Neuromechanics Lab in Summer 2021 and I am currently investigating cognitive-motor circuit interactions underlying balance control.

Research:

I am interested in informing new rehabilitation strategies to improve motor performance and prevent falls in the elderly and individuals with neurological disorders. My current work utilizes Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) paired with Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) to study cognitive-motor circuit interactions that may underlie fall risk.
