Research:

I am interested in how the brain allocates resources during active behavior and how these processes change with age. I have studied the neural dynamics that underly perceptual processing and motor performance during dual cognitive-motor tasks in both older and younger adults. My research focuses on mobile brain/body imaging methods to overcome the limitations of controlled and stationary laboratory studies and to enable temporally precise brain imaging during natural behaviors. I combine behavioral data with motion tracking and electroencephalography (EEG) assessments for recordings in different environments – in the laboratory, in virtual reality, or in the field.
