          Research:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          I am a PhD candidate in the joint Biomedical Engineering department of Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, where I am mentored by three principal investigators: Dr. Lena Ting (computational modeling and biomechanics), Dr. Gordon Berman (machine learning), and Dr. Trisha Kesar (gait rehabilitation). My research centers on developing data-driven models for interpreting and tracking individual-specific locomotor patterns in physically impaired populations without needing to construct physiologically based mechanistic models. Our work is the first study that uses machine learning to study the dynamics of gait in an interpretable manner. My long-term goal is to develop clinical tools to improve tailored rehabilitation and recovery of individuals with walking dysfunction due to neuropathologies.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
