Meet Our New ORA Interns

We proudly announce our partnership with the Center for Global Health Innovation and Year Up and welcome to ORA, our first ever cohort of Year Up interns. Year Up is a national nonprofit organization working to provide economic and racial justicethrough by connecting thousands of young adults with economic opportunity and postsecondary education.

The program consists of a one-year intensive training which includes a combination of technical and professional skills, college education and experiential opportunities in a variety of roles in industry settings.

In support of the elements of OneORA focusing on creative workforce pipelines for research administration careers, we opened this partnership with five Year Up interns.   They are currently working on their RAE Training and supporting IACUC, RAS, RBO, RCRA and RGC.  We thank these departments, especially all the mentors who are currently supporting the training of our interns.

Welcome to the ORA family, Samson Hadush (RAS), David Brown (Cost Studies), Ruel Morant (IACUC), Tavion Patten (RCRA) and Xavier Matayosi (RGC)!
