Election Day is coming up very soon! On November 8th, 2016, the mantle of American leadership will be passed on, continuing a proud, 228 year-old tradition. This day will be pivotal in the history of this great nation, and as such, it is crucial that we make an effort to learn as much as possible about the candidates that we will vote for.

We at the Oxford College Library are happy to announce the 2016 Election Guide! This comprehensive collection includes a number of sources to help you make a truly informed decision this election season.

We have several political databases on file, including Statista (an aggregate of statistical data from over 18,000 sources with great infographics) and Political Science Complete (a compilation of over 2,000 peer-reviewed academic journals). We also offer quick access to PolitiFact, a Pulitzer-prize winning project aimed at fact-checking politicians’ statements, as well as a list of websites on the issues, the facts, and the candidates themselves.

Check it out and vote confidently on November 8!
