Though A Burning, Megha Majumdar weaves the stories of people from different backgrounds and identity groups together seamlessly and realistically in a way that provides a window into the lives of cultural outsiders in a non-American context. These elements together create a moving story with a powerful message that displays the interconnected nature of humanity but also one that does not shy away from its equivalent cruel and selfish moments.<\/p>\n
