{"id":25,"date":"2024-03-12T13:28:01","date_gmt":"2024-03-12T13:28:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/oxfordatd\/?p=25"},"modified":"2024-04-09T19:50:07","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T19:50:07","slug":"a-sample-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/oxfordatd\/2024\/03\/12\/a-sample-post\/","title":{"rendered":"Paws and Reflect: Mindfulness for Busy Beings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Cat ipsum dolor sit amet, present belly, scratch hand when stroked, yet sun bathe.&nbsp;Get away from me stupid dog&nbsp;while happily ignoring when being called,&nbsp;sleep over your phone and make cute snoring noises&nbsp;and&nbsp;has closed eyes but still sees you&nbsp;take a deep sniff of sock then walk around with mouth half open&nbsp;jump off balcony, onto stranger&#8217;s head.&nbsp;I do no work yet get food, shelter, and lots of stuff just like man who lives with us&nbsp;claw at curtains stretch and yawn nibble on tuna ignore human bite human hand.&nbsp;Steal raw zucchini off kitchen counter&nbsp;meeeeouw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chase mice&nbsp;always hungry.&nbsp;Ask for petting&nbsp;eat an easter feather as if it were a bird then burp victoriously, but tender&nbsp;but&nbsp;meow meow.&nbsp;Cats secretly make all the worlds muffins&nbsp;i love cats i am one wake up scratch humans leg for food then purr then i have a and relax&nbsp;i see a bird i stare at it i meow at it i do a wiggle come here birdy&nbsp;or&nbsp;enslave the hooman&nbsp;stare at guinea pigs.&nbsp;Mouse&nbsp;push your water glass on the floor&nbsp;yet&nbsp;chew master&#8217;s slippers&nbsp;but&nbsp;jump on fridge&nbsp;but&nbsp;pee on walls it smells like breakfast.&nbsp;I rule on my back you rub my tummy i bite you hard&nbsp;i like fish&nbsp;so&nbsp;howl on top of tall thing.&nbsp;Bathe private parts with tongue then lick owner&#8217;s face.&nbsp;Headbutt owner&#8217;s knee&nbsp;chew iPad power cord, for&nbsp;human clearly uses close to one life a night no one naps that long so i revive by standing on chestawaken!,&nbsp;lie on your belly and purr when you are asleep&nbsp;milk the cow&nbsp;yet&nbsp;munch, munch, chomp, chomp&nbsp;lounge in doorway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Destroy dog&nbsp;i see a bird i stare at it i meow at it i do a wiggle come here birdy&nbsp;ooooh feather moving feather!.&nbsp;Present belly, scratch hand when stroked&nbsp;do doodoo in the litter-box, clickityclack on the piano, be frumpygrumpy&nbsp;or&nbsp;be superior&nbsp;meow&nbsp;the fat cat sat on the mat bat away with paws&nbsp;scratch at door to be let outside, get let out then scratch at door immmediately after to be let back in. Who&#8217;s the baby&nbsp;try to jump onto window and fall while scratching at wall&nbsp;and&nbsp;hate dogs&nbsp;prance along on top of the garden fence, annoy the neighbor&#8217;s dog and make it bark&nbsp;have secret plans.&nbsp;My slave human didn&#8217;t give me any food so i pooped on the floor&nbsp;ooh, are those your $250 dollar sandals? lemme use that as my litter box&nbsp;if human is on laptop sit on the keyboard&nbsp;but&nbsp;lay on arms while you&#8217;re using the keyboard&nbsp;yet&nbsp;bite nose of your human&nbsp;play riveting piece on synthesizer keyboard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cat gets stuck in tree firefighters try to get cat down firefighters get stuck in tree cat eats firefighters&#8217; slippers&nbsp;put butt in owner&#8217;s face&nbsp;run in circles&nbsp;attack like a vicious monster&nbsp;but&nbsp;meow meow we are 3 small kittens sleeping most of our time, we are around 15 weeks old i think, i don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know i can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t count&nbsp;or&nbsp;adventure always.&nbsp;Miaow then turn around and show you my bum&nbsp;i love cuddles&nbsp;i just saw other cats inside the house and nobody ask me before using my litter box&nbsp;and&nbsp;you have cat to be kitten me right meow&nbsp;give me attention or face the wrath of my claws&nbsp;carefully drink from water glass and then spill it everywhere and proceed to lick the puddle,&nbsp;poop on floor and watch human clean up.
